The diversity of marine life off the coast of California rivals anywhere else in the world. From whales to dolphins, to sharks, to giant kelp forests, our waters are teeming with life. These unique species depend greatly on the forces of the seasons and the winds, temperature changes, and current developments that come along with it. While the interactions between California's Seasons and its wildlife have been ongoing for thousands of years, our influence is establishing itself anew. As the Golden State becomes more and more popular, human impact has the potential to disrupt these seasons, endangering the marine wildlife that call our coast home.
